If you are in pain when you come into our office, the first objective is to help you feel better. Depending on the severity of your problem, it is typical to need care two to three times per week for four to 12 weeks.

Laying the Foundation
for Total Health
Chiropractic care is like building a house – certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem. The same is true for your body. Your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully. There are three general phases of chiropractic care:
Phase 1: Relief Care
Phase 2: Corrective/Restorative Care
During the corrective care phase, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, thereby helping prevent injury. It is typical to need care four to eight times per month for six to 24 months, depending on your overall health and the severity of your problem.
Phase 3: Wellness Care
Once your body has fully healed, it is important to come in for periodic adjustments to avoid problems in the future. Usually, this only requires a quick visit to the chiropractor one to four times per month, based on your lifestyle and goals.
New Patient Center
The first thing the doctor will do is ask you about your health complaints. The doctor will also ask about your family history, dietary habits, other care you may have had (osteopathic, medical, surgery, etc.), your job, and other questions designed to help determine the nature of your illness and the best way to go about treating the problem.
Did you know that there could be something that you are doing in your everyday routine that is causing your discomfort?
Examination
After a thorough consultation with the doctor, our patient will have a complete examination. This will include testing your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend as well as other standard orthopedic, neurologic, postural, and physical examinations. The doctor will gain valuable information regarding your condition so that you have a better understanding of how our wellness services can help you. If necessary, X-rays or additional testing procedures will be performed. Rest assured that your concerns will be addressed effectively by our doctor.
Report of findings
The moment you’ve been waiting for!
The report of findings is the most important part of patient first visit. Once the examination has been performed and all personal data compiled, the doctor will give you a report of findings and tell you recommendations for treatment.
This is the patient opportunity to learn specifically what is going on with their body. The doctor will provide you a complete, detailed report of their findings. This is where the patient will be presented with a tailored plan for recovery and learn how long it will take you to feel better and how much it will cost.
When you leave our report you will fully understand your condition and how we are going to address it so well that you will be able to describe it to a friend.
